Mother

To be a woman is to hold your

loved ones close to your heart.

It is to be a sanctuary for the devotee,

a mother and the sea,

the hand that will set the others free.

The wild beast that won't be enslaved,

and will forgive the predators that don't let her be.

To be feminine isn't just what

you are born with.

It is a prayer,

a silent offering,

for those in need.
