Beauty

It has been like coming back home

after all these years of overlooking

the beauty of this body and mind,

hat can create, give life and enjoy.

The poet and the poem,

Each looking the other in the eyes,

the words and the lines dancing,

the thoughts and meanings vibrating.

I have found my strength

That moves with my breath

and grows with my spine,

and I am not giving it up!
